A little small but the drinks were cool and the prices were good. They have a dart board and free peanuts.
It's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some of that good smooth stuff!
Stumbled across this place and loved it! Great service (loved Danielle!) and spent a few hours enjoying drinks here.
Nice street bar and is open till 2 am...this is a happening place late night..if you want to just drink play some games and have fun late at night and you don’t know a place near downtown go here...you will love it !!!
I don’t remember this bar. Wait. Oh yeah! The one with all the Boston stuff and a superscary mannequin in the back yard. I think I had a nice Irish coffee here too. Red Sox suck. But this SF place doesn’t.
From a Tennessee’an this bar was amazing. By far the bast value in San Francisco. Specials every day of the week. Happened to stumble upon it while visiting the pier. Nick was the best bar tender and mad sure we were taken care of all night. 5 stars!
Was on 5day break to San Francisco in may from England loved going in Red Jacks best pub around
Great stop away from the crowds on the waterfront. Friendly bartenders as well.
Nice environment , met some red Sox and Patriot fans , server was very friendly 😊, had a small town pub feel
Really friendly bar good barstaff and good Guinness .will drink here again when I come back soon.
Boston bar in SFFriendly bartenders Decent pricesOpens relatively early
Well we spotted this bar on google after a 10 hour flight into San Fran as we needed a drink and it was before 10pm. I am 50 year old White male and my Wife is a 57 year old black woman. We were refused a drink as their requirement written on their wall said if you appear under 21 you must provide ID before being served (we had left our ID in the hotel). Some common sense should have been shown here as being over 50 with middle age spread, plenty of wrinkles and a grey beard may have given a few clues that I maybe was telling the truth of being over 21 years old!! Joke and joke of a bar! Not the best start for our first visit to a Multi racial cosmopolitan city such as San Fran!! It did cross my mind that was it about age as I’ve been to most parts of the USA for many many years and have never had such a absurd challenge!
Christine awesome bartender knows her drinks very laid back place away from hustle and bustle super clean restrooms
Great bar owned by boston people
Nice, comfortable, "hole in the wall" with pinball!
Nice place for a quiet drink and watch the sports on TV.
I wasn't thrilled when the bookstore people took over my favorite neighborhood cocktail spot, and frankly the cocktails aren't as good as they once were, but that isn't a reasonable standard. Regardless, I am so glad we still have the Alembic!
Nice little neighborhood bar. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Probably a fun place to watch some football.
Great place to watch the Pats game!
Great place, neat and clean. Great bartender. It's a place where you can go, chill and have a nice conversation. Restrooms are extremely clean. Lots of great locals people. You will love this place and I will absolutely will make a habit visiting again.Great for tourists tired of walking all day and looking to chill and get drunk 😉
A nice quaint sports bar in San Francisco, especially for Red Sox fans. Close to the Piers and a the action with great tourist attractions.
Boston bar in SF, really cool divey feel
Darts!!!!! Good drinks. Lots of specials. Has a fun pub look. Nick is a great bartender. Feels like your in cheers. Lots of tvs. Nice AMI jukebox. Close to a parking garage.
What a place. Eating; Drinking and lots of music. As for the decor; Well go and visit and enjoy..
Great service! Good prices. Big up to the owner (bartender). Sooo kind and taking time to explain you the different beers. He let you taste before you choose. A place to visit!
What a quirky little bar this is...just in the middle of a normal street! Nothing like it there. Met the manager in Washington...he was visiting his mate where we were staying...hotel Harrington. Top blokes!!
Good bar, walking distance to pier 39
The staff were very nice! Good drinks & atmosphere! We'll be back!
This place is awesome. The bartender is great. And the whole vibe is great!!!
This location has an awesome atmosphere, a very lively bartender, and best of all a pub to feel at home at. Make this your go to stop if you're out with some mates, worth your time.
I use to work around this area and sometimes after a long day dealing with customers a group outing to Red Jack's was necessary. If my memory serves me right shots are about $6, and honestly in this tourist laden neighborhood that alone is a God send. They've also got a nice outside area out back. This isn't the place to drink and dance, but it's a nice spot to drink with friends and catch up.
No crowds! Quick service.
If you're from Boston when you come to the city you got to go here. Great dive bar feel located not too far away from the water.
Great little dive bar! Good place to watch the game, and engage in conversation with great people
All and all a very nice watering hole. It's nothing fancy, but not that type of bar where you are afraid you might get shivved in the toilet. Lots of stuff on the walls, this place has character.Drinks aren't too expensive. This is a Boston bar, so during sports events that will be the team that everyone is rooting for. It's nice to have something authentic like this so near to the tourist nightmare that is Fisherman's Wharf.
Nice people.. Nice place
Great bar. A real bar that stands out almongst the multitude of cocktail bars. Be warned however it's Patrort crazy on game day!
Great place to hangout over a few drinks. They have everyday specials which are at a great price! Would definitely recommend those!
Great "locals" Boston bar. The guys enjoyed a game of darts, while we gals enjoyed the juke box's wide variety of music. Biggest bonus for me was that they have Guinness on tap!
I love this place ❤️
Great little bar, ideal for a late night drink. Admirably run by Gloria who mixed a mean Bloody Mary. Jukebox, darts, board games too...all good fun!
I first went to RJS in 2007. I met some of the best people there. If I went back to SF, it would be to see the one or two people left i know there, and to stop by the Red Jack.
Great Bar...Amazing Owners & Staff...
This bar is amazing. The owners treat you like one of the family it's a good place to come in get a drink and relax and watch the game. Great music always playing and wonderful people to talk to all the time. This is absolutely THE bar to go to in San Francisco!
Can be crowded, good for watching the game. No food but friendly staff and decent cocktails. Great for a drink after work.
Had a good time here. Barmaid was friendly and prices reasonable for San Francisco. Would go back.
Lovely little bar. Bartender was lovely. Drinks were amazingly cheap! Would recommend for a chill night with friends to play some games and have a chat. Love the red jack saloon!!!!
I love this place.😊
We played Jenga for 5 hours and had the best time at red jack! The staff was extremely nice and we will be back for sure!
Cheap and cheerful, hard to find in San Fran! Nice for casual beers on the back patio.
